A diplomamunka célja volt, hogy egy eddig szokatlan sokszorosító grafikai eljárással kísérletezzek. A végeredmény mindenképp egy rézkarc volt, de szokatlan nyomtatási módon. A jól ismert CMYK nyomtatási elvet igyekeztem alkalmazni, bár tisztában voltam vele, hogy pusztán manuális eszközökkel szinte lehetetlen színhelyes kép nyomtatása, így csupán egy térbeli viszonyokat hűen visszaadó nyomat volt a cél. A fenti módon először fóliával kísérleteztem, kíváncsi voltam, hogy az összeadott színek átvilágítva, tényleg viszonylag változatos színhatást adnak-e. Alul egy minta látható, amely elkészítését minden művészi nyomattal foglalkozó grafikusnak ajánlok. Itt az általam használt tónusozási módszer és maratási idő látszik. Minél sötétebb, annál tovább volt savban, és kevesebb folyékony alapozó került rá. Hogy a hatás raszterszerű legyen, fogkefével fröcsköltem fel a lemezre az anyagot.

The objective of my graduation work was to make and print an etching in an unusual way. The main difference was in the printing. I used the well known CMYK printing method, however, I was sure about, that I can't do a perfect printing with simple manual methods. So, I wished to do a color printing witch can show spatial differences. First of all, I made experiments with foils, because I was curious about the color mixture. On the lower picture, you can see a test line. I recommend to do this for every artist, who wish to make etching. We know, to make an etching, we sometimes need acid. This is an acid and tone test. The darker the tone, the longer have stayed in the acid and the lighter the tone, it has less ground coat. I used a toothbrush to make this raster. I'll show you the printing phases and the finished work in a later post.
